The Longest Road

MORGAN PAGE ft. LISSIE - THE LONGEST ROAD (DEADMAU5 REMIX)

Giddy up and go
We'll go so far as we please

Giddy up and gold mine
Different place, different time
All the stars are in their prime
Pastel trailer park, stars so bright to hide the dark
All is quiet in the yard

Giddy up and gold dust, all the cars turn to rust
You've got no means for wanderlust
Pastel trailer park, stars so bright to hide the dark
All is quiet in the yard

If you are so frequently in love
If you prefer it all to me then my love
You go down the longest road to nowhere
You pull it apart and you're just left there

Giddy up and gold mine, horse dust down time
Its my life, its my time, we've been gettin' nowhere
Gold mine, different place, different time
Hold me down, Hold me down
Hope will be found, Follow me

If you are so frequently in love
If you prefer it all to me then my love
You go down the longest road to nowhere
You pull it apart and your just left there

They're waiting for it, you're waiting for it
And you're waving in it, and you're craving in it
If you fill my cup with all you must
To speak from something

If you are so frequently in love
If you prefer it all to me then my love
You go down the longest road to nowhere
You pull it apart and your just left there
You go down the longest road to nowhere
You pull it apart and your just left there.

Announcing my hiatus. Yesh. I won't be posting anymore for quite a bit. I'll probably be back in a month or two. Or three.

Here's a parting gift for you to enjoy. It's a stop-motion video that's ultimately quite impressive. I wonder how long they must have taken to actually capture each frame. Anyhow, just sit back and be amazed.

PS: Stop-motion is a type of animation that combines multiple photographs into one single film or movie. Meaning that the animation you see is actually done by hand and photographed, and repeated. Meaning, yes. It could take you a fecking lifetime to shoot and edit a 5 minute movie.

So Much

I deeply apologize for not putting up anything new despite the countless promises I've made to post more and have more frequent updates. But there is nothing much I can do to battle all the stuff that's flowing against my stride at the moment.

The responsibility of the CPM project at the moment isn't helping much either. So, you can expect that this place will be probably dead weight when the flow of all the other upcoming assignments come into the picture. Help me, please.

No matter how much I would like to release all the half-written posts that are piling up in the Drafts folder, I simply can't find the time. But when I can, I will.

So until the next post, it's gonna be "When I can" from now on.

When I can.

I'm sorry. This is the deal, mkay? I have about 5 post drafts that are unfinished. I have just started the new semester. This blog is gathering cobwebs again. I'm already bored of the layout even before the post count has reached 10. So here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna have a new post, widgets, layout, musics, all by next SUNDAY. Hold me to my promise. Damn, I'm lazy. =(

Don't worry, you got the correct blog. This blog looks ugly for now because Photobucket or Streamyx is being slow. So you might not see the graphics like you should. =P

Faith Factor

I'm pretty messed up right now. I've been having a fever and cold since yesterday morning. Even so, I made it to church last night to serve for the prayer meeting, which is a good thing. This flu has been something of a nerve-wrecker, especially since we're in the 6th stage of the H1N1 pandemic. It's quite scary stuff to have a fever, cold, sore throat during this phase. However, last night something happened that changed all that and had me thinking a bit.

It was approximately 1am, when I decided to pray for healing. This is something completely out of character for me. Prayer has been something that I've treated as not so significant, I've never even considered myself as a "prayer warrior" before.

What started out as just a small prayer started having effects right away. It's not often that you feel the fever leaving you so quickly. This was new. I always thought that I had enough faith for everyday life. This time God decided to prove me wrong, I guess. Before, my prayers used to be fickle requests to God, never ever thinking that any of them would be answered. This time, I did it with expectancy. He answers. Sometimes all you need to to is have a little patience.

Realizing God's grace, favour, and mercy is a sweet, sweet thing. It does alot to help you when you know that there's someone you can always rely or fall back on.

Jehovah Jireh (Gen 22:14) “The Lord will provide a sacrifice”

Jehovah Rapha (Exodus 15:26) “The Lord our Healer”

Jehovah Nissi (Exdos 17:15) “The Lord our Banner”

Jehovah Shalom (Judges 6:24) “The Lord our Peace”

Jehovah Raah (Psalms 23:1) “The Lord our Shepherd”

Jehovah Tsidkenu (Jeremiah 23:6) “The Lord our Righteousness”

Jehovah Shammah (Ezekiel 48:35) “The Lord is Present”

That's all that needs to be said. The fever is gone now. Only the respiratory annoyances remain. But they'll go too, soon. Such a small thing, and my faith is restored. How wonderful He is.
